Great to meet you!

If you’ve been functioning, working, parenting, and showing up for everyone else while quietly feeling overwhelmed, exhausted, or stuck, you’re not alone.

I’m Dr. Oretha Sogbie-Berko, a Doctor of Nursing Practice and board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 19 years of healthcare experience, including dual certification in acute care and psychiatry.

I work primarily with high-functioning adults who feel overwhelmed behind the scenes, managing careers, families, and expectations while struggling with anxiety, depression, stress, or life transitions.

My approach is warm, direct, and solution-focused. I combine evidence-based care, including medication management when appropriate, with practical strategies that help you feel more balanced, think more clearly, and function better in your day-to-day life.

With my background in internal medicine, I take a whole-person approach, understanding how physical health, stress, and emotional well-being are all connected.

If you’re ready to feel more like yourself again, I’m here to help.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and structured. I combine evidence-based psychiatric care with a clear, practical plan so you’re not just talking, you’re making meaningful progress.

I focus on understanding what’s driving your symptoms while helping you regain clarity, stability, and a sense of control.

Medication is used thoughtfully when appropriate, and always as part of a broader plan that fits your life.

What you can expect from me

Your first appointment is 45-60 minutes and is focused on understanding you, your history, current challenges, and goals.

We’ll work together to create a clear, personalized plan so you leave with direction, clarity, and next steps.

This is a supportive, judgment-free space where you can show up exactly as you are.
