Great to meet you!

I provide trauma-informed, patient-centered psychiatric care for individuals experiencing conditions such as anxiety, depression, PTSD, bipolar disorder, ADHD, and substance use challenges. My approach is holistic and collaborative. I believe patients should understand their mental health in a meaningful way, including the psychological patterns behind their symptoms and how treatment supports long-term stability.

In our work together, I focus on helping you understand how your thoughts, emotions, and experiences interact. I also take time to explain how medications work and how they affect brain function so you can make informed decisions about your treatment. My goal is to create a supportive environment where you feel heard, respected, and empowered in your mental health journey.

My approach to therapy

My approach to care is trauma-informed, collaborative, and grounded in evidence-based psychiatric practice. I work closely with each client to understand their unique experiences, symptoms, and goals for treatment. Together we develop a plan that may include thoughtful medication management, education about mental health, and strategies to better understand thoughts, emotions, and behavioral patterns.

I believe effective care begins with listening. I take time to ensure clients understand their diagnosis, how treatment options work, and what to expect moving forward. My goal is to provide a supportive and respectful environment where individuals feel comfortable asking questions, participating in decisions, and building sustainable tools for long-term mental wellness.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we will take time to discuss what brought you to treatment, your current concerns, and your mental health history. I will ask questions about your symptoms, past treatments, medical history, lifestyle, and any factors that may be affecting your well-being. This conversation helps me develop a clear understanding of your experiences and goals.

We will also begin discussing possible treatment options, which may include medication management, education about your condition, and strategies to support your mental health. My goal in the first session is to create a comfortable and supportive space where you feel heard, understood, and confident about the next steps in your care.
