Great to meet you!

I am a bilingual English/Spanish therapist working with individuals, adolescents, couples, and families from diverse backgrounds. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Colorado, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) in North Carolina, and a National Certified Counselor (NCC).

I earned my master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and have worked in private practice, community mental health, school-based settings, and with individuals and families facing a wide range of life challenges.

My areas of focus include anxiety, depression, OCD, trauma and PTSD, relationship and family difficulties, ADHD, life transitions, emotional regulation, parenting concerns, and men's issues. I also have extensive experience working with adolescents and couples, including individuals navigating cultural differences, major life changes, and difficult relationship patterns.

As an Argentinian-American and bilingual clinician, I also understand how culture, family expectations, immigration experiences, and different ways of communicating can influence relationships and emotional well-being.

My approach to therapy

My approach is active, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy should help you understand why certain patterns keep happening while also giving you concrete ways to change them.

Rather than simply listening and asking, "How does that make you feel?" I help clients identify patterns in their thoughts, emotions, relationships, and decisions that may be keeping them stuck. Together, we explore where those patterns came from, determine whether they are still useful, and develop healthier ways of responding.

My work is strongly influenced by Transactional Analysis and also incorporates CBT, DBT, ACT, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, Reality/Choice Therapy, and other evidence-informed approaches depending on the needs of each client.

I tend to be warm and supportive while also being direct when appropriate. I will challenge you respectfully, ask questions that encourage reflection, and help you translate insight into meaningful changes in everyday life. Therapy with me is not about telling you what to do; it is about helping you understand yourself more clearly so you can make intentional decisions and move forward with greater confidence.

What you can expect from me

The first session is primarily an opportunity for us to understand what is bringing you to therapy and what you would like to be different in your life.

I will ask about your current concerns, important relationships, relevant history, strengths, and the patterns you may already be noticing. We will also talk about what you have tried before, what has or has not helped, and what you hope to accomplish through therapy.

You do not need to arrive knowing exactly what your goals are. Part of my role is helping you organize what is happening and identify where we can begin.

By the end of the first few sessions, my goal is for you to have a clearer understanding of the issues we are addressing, the patterns that may be contributing to them, and a practical direction for our work together. I want therapy to feel purposeful, collaborative, and connected to the changes you want to see outside of the therapy room.
