My approach to therapy

Paige’s first priority is ensuring you feel safe, respected, and like an equal partner in the therapeutic process. As a seasoned telehealth provider, Paige offers the convenience of virtual sessions for busy lives and is licensed to see clients in Hawaiʻi, Texas, Arizona, and Colorado. She is Level 2 trained in the Gottman Method for couples therapy and trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT). Paige specializes in trauma work, couples therapy, women’s hormone-related issues, and working with military members and veterans. As a veteran herself, she understands the unique challenges that can come with military service and transition. She helps clients process past experiences while addressing the ways physical health and relationships impact emotional well-being.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect the first session to be a full 55-minute appointment focused on understanding what brings them to therapy and determining whether we are a good fit to work together. We will review your intake paperwork, discuss your current concerns, goals for therapy, and relevant history so I can begin forming a clear picture of what support you need.

My approach is collaborative and structured, so together we will begin identifying priorities and what direction treatment may take moving forward. For many clients, this includes discussing modalities I use such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), the Gottman Method for couples therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), depending on your needs.
