Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist based in Southern California, practicing exclusively via telehealth — which means I can work with clients anywhere in California at times that actually fit your life, including evenings. I've been doing this for nine years and I work with kids, teenagers, and adults across a wide range of concerns: anxiety, depression, OCD, bipolar disorder, grief, parenting challenges, work-related stress, men's mental health, alcohol use, and more. I'm not a blank-screen therapist — I'll be honest with you about what I'm observing, I'll push back when it's useful, and I'll bring genuine investment to every session. That said, the work is collaborative, and you lead the direction. My job is to help you see things differently and actually get somewhere.

My approach to therapy

My approach is integrative, which just means I don't use a one-size-fits-all formula. I draw on humanistic, psychodynamic, solution-focused, motivational interviewing, and behavioral methods — whatever fits you and the stage of life you're in. I lean heavily on psychoeducation and clinical insight: helping you understand what's actually happening and why tends to be one of the most useful things we can do together. I'm a hopeful therapist — I genuinely believe people can change and grow, and I show up to every session holding that belief, even when you're not feeling it yourself.

What you can expect from me

The first session is a conversation, not a clinical intake. We'll talk about what brought you in, what you've tried before, and what you'd like life to look like on the other side. I'll ask questions, share some initial observations, and we'll get a sense of whether working together feels like a good fit. There's no pressure — I'd genuinely rather you leave the first session knowing whether I'm the right therapist for you than rush into a commitment that doesn't fit. For kids and teens, parents are welcome to join for part of the first session to share context.
