Great to meet you!

I believe that seeking therapy is a courageous step toward healing, growth, and a more fulfilling life. My goal is to create a warm, supportive, and judgment-free space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered to navigate life’s challenges.

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions such as motherhood, relationship challenges, stress, and other concerns that can make life feel overwhelming. I use a collaborative, individualized approach, drawing from evidence-based therapeutic practices while meeting you where you are.

For clients who desire it, I also offer a Christian, faith-informed approach to therapy. I believe faith can be an important source of hope, strength, and healing, and I am happy to incorporate Christian beliefs and practices into therapy at your request. Your faith and values will always be respected and honored within our work together.

You don’t have to navigate difficult seasons alone. My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you can slow down, gain clarity, develop healthier patterns, and move toward the life you desire.

My approach to therapy

As someone who has worked with many different populations and cultures, I believe using a person-centered approach that is catered to your needs, is important. I am not a “blank slate” therapist and often use humor and personality to make my clients feel comfortable to heal and let down their guards at their pace. I have worked with many different cultures and populations, and phases of life, including military. I am trained in the top 3 trauma modalities to help clients with everything from childhood trauma to deployment trauma. I am trained in perinatal mental health and love helping mamas navigate life after babies. I believe after having kids we should not try to “get back to who we were before” and should instead incorporate who we were before kids and who we are now , to find our new pink.

What you can expect from me

Before our first session we will have a quick consultation call to find out if I meet the basic needs you may have. In our first session, I will get to know you through asking questions, listening to whatever part of your story you want to share at that point, and find out how I could be of assistance to you. This is also a great time to make sure we are a great fit for each other and for you to determine whether I am the right therapist for you and your needs. I believe this is very important, as not every therapist is right for every client.
