Great to meet you!

I have 16 years experience as a clinical psychologist, with 8 years experience providing tele-mental health services. I earned my PhD in 2010 from the University of Wyoming. I completed pre-doctoral internship in 2010 and post-doctoral residency in 2011 within the Department of Veterans Affairs, with a Trauma/PTSD specialty. I have been fully and independently licensed since 2012, with expertise providing evidence based care for a variety of mental health conditions.

My approach to therapy

I take a collaborative approach to therapy, with focus helping you achieve your goals. I take time to learn your concerns and develop a relationship with you as my client, as I strongly believe that change occurs within the context of the therapeutic relationship. I will work with you to understand the problem(s) that bring you to therapy, as well as your own treatment needs and preferences. Together we will build a treatment plan to help you achieve your goals.

What you can expect from me

I hope you will walk away from each session with a better understanding of yourself and new tools to help you better manage your problems. Some sessions will be hard as we work together toward your healing and recovery. Know I will be your partner on this journey and support you as learn new skills and begin to approach problems in new ways.
