Great to meet you!

Hello, I have been an addiction counselor for eight years and a social worker for six years. I work with both teenagers and adults. I hold a bachelor's degree in chemical dependency and a master's degree in social work, both from Western New Mexico University. I am also a parent to three children and a grandparent to twelve grandchildren. Life has presented me with many challenges, but overcoming these obstacles has allowed me to transform my life, enhancing my ability to connect with my clients

My approach to therapy

In my therapy sessions, I incorporate multiple theoretical approaches, starting where the client is at, as using only one theory does not suffice given the diversity of individuals. My goal is to facilitate growth and healing, helping you reach where you want or deserve to be in life. I have a robust background in both substance abuse and mental health.

What you can expect from me

My primary aim is to create a comfortable environment where clients feel supported every step of the way. I provide a nonjudgmental and safe space, leaving clients with a sense of hope and peace. I assign homework and often incorporate faith-based therapy. While I can be direct, I am also very empathetic. After our virtual appointments, I encourage clients to work on the objectives we've discussed and find ways to integrate them into their lives.
