Great to meet you!

Patricia Sims-Brown, LPC-S is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor with over a decade of experience supporting adults through anxiety, depression, stress, low self-esteem, co-dependency, life transitions, and women’s mental health concerns. She specializes in working with high-functioning professionals who are navigating emotional overwhelm, boundary challenges, and trauma-related experiences.

Patricia takes a holistic, person-centered, and evidence-based approach to therapy, creating a collaborative space where clients feel seen, supported, and empowered to build resilience and sustainable change. She earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Phoenix.

In addition to her clinical work, Patricia provides clinical supervision and mentorship to early-career counselors, supporting their professional growth with intention, clarity, and ethical practice.

My approach to therapy

utilize an eclectic, client-centered approach tailored to each individual’s unique needs, strengths, and goals. My therapeutic framework integrates evidence-based modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), and Solution-Focused Therapy (SFT) to support meaningful and sustainable change.

Through this integrative approach, I help clients gain insight, strengthen resilience, and develop practical coping strategies to navigate life’s challenges more effectively. I prioritize creating a supportive, collaborative, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where clients feel safe exploring their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors.

By blending these interventions, my work focuses on increasing self-awareness, enhancing emotional regulation, and empowering clients to achieve greater balance and well-being in both their personal and professional lives.

What you can expect from me

In our work together, my goal is to support and guide you in a way that promotes self-awareness, emotional well-being, and meaningful personal growth. Therapy is a collaborative process, and our first sessions will focus on understanding your concerns, your goals, and what has brought you to seek support at this time.

You can expect a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you are encouraged to explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace. Over time, therapy can help you develop greater insight, strengthen coping strategies, and feel more empowered to make choices that align with your values and needs.

As we move forward, many clients report feeling more supported, grounded, and confident in navigating life’s challenges. I believe each person brings unique strengths and inherent value to the therapeutic process. My role is to help you reconnect with those strengths, build resilience, and work toward meaningful and sustainable change. I look forward to partnering with you on your journey toward healing and growth.
