Great to meet you!

Thank you for taking the moment to get to know me as a therapist and a person. I have been working in mental health for the past 25 years and retired from the federal government in 2025. Now that I am retired I continue to desire to help others make significant changes in their lives.

My approach to therapy

My clinical experience includes treating the following: marital therapy difficulties; Domestic Violence treatment; trauma; anxiety; depression; and substance use treatment. .

It's my goal and opinion that if I am effective as a therapist that eventually my services will not be needed. Basically I become obsolete as the person that I am working with gains the skills and insight necessary to effectively navigate their life and associated challenges without the need for ongoing services.

What you can expect from me

First session are rather busy. I have the goal of getting to know someone and their goals for therapy. By the end of the first session I want the person I'm working with to have departed the session with resources or coping skills necessary begin the change in their lives that they desire.
