Great to meet you!

I’m a board-certified child, adolescent, and adult psychiatrist offering expert psychopharmacologic consultation and care for children, teens, and adults.

I work with the range of possible symptoms, including ADHD, mood and anxiety concerns, trauma, perfectionism, burnout and stress, complex diagnostic presentations, and under-responsiveness to treatment.

In addition to 20+ years of clinical experience, my background includes serving as a successful CEO, endowed professor, and senior physician-leader in a large academic health system. I draw on this experience to engage and support individuals facing significant personal, academic, or professional performance pressures, including executives, professionals, founders, athletes, artists, students, and others with high-stakes, high-visibility roles.

My approach to therapy

My work is collaborative and consultative—focused on partnering with you to continually refine understanding and treatment. I use evidence-based, holistic psychiatric approaches that are practical, direct, and grounded in improving functioning, resilience, relationships, and performance. Whether working with you or your child, I aim to create clarity and a treatment process that evolves thoughtfully as we learn more together.

What you can expect from me

Every decision we make in life is shaped by our mental health. My work focuses on helping people understand those forces with clarity so they can move through their lives, relationships, and careers with greater stability, freedom, and performance.

Your first session is a welcoming starting point where we begin understanding your (and your child’s) goals, history, and current concerns. We’ll talk through what feels most important and start forming an initial shared picture—not a final plan, but the beginning of one. My goal is for you to leave that first meeting feeling heard, understood, and confident about how we’ll move forward together.
