Great to meet you!

I received my PhD in counseling psychology from the University of Florida and completed my doctoral internship in health service psychology at American University. I am a licensed psychologist in Maryland. I primarily provide individual therapy and specialize in supporting individuals who identify as survivors of interpersonal violence (i.e., racial violence and trauma, intimate partner violence, and/or sexual violence). Clients who hope to work with a therapist who is strengths-based, empathetic, and culturally mindful may want to work with me.

My approach to therapy

I use a relational cultural approach to support you in exploring how your relationships with yourself and others as well as your social identities impact your concerns and overall wellness. I believe that you are the expert on your own life and I use my expertise to support you in working towards your goals.

What you can expect from me

Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling affirmed and empowered. I like to provide clients with a warm and safe space to express themselves while also providing practical tools to aid in their healing journey.
