Great to meet you!

I'm a LPC with over 25 years in the field. I've helped people through a variety of issues. Whatever is motivating you to seek counseling, I’m here to help. Throughout my career I have seen how helpful & freeing it can be to have a safe & non-judgmental space to explore what you value. I bring warmth, compassion, humor, and insight into my work, and I try to help folks learn something new about themselves every session. This can mean the difference between just living and prospering as a person.

My approach to therapy

I've been doing this for quite a while so I'm comfortable working with a very wide range of concerns and have a variety of approaches I can deploy to fit each client's needs. I draw from Interpersonal, CBT, and Humanistic therapies. I'm culturally responsible & social justice-oriented, inclusive to all identities. I provide a caring non-judgemental space that respects you as a person, including your culture, values, spirituality, and sexual orientation (LGBTQI). Together we will a healthier you!

What you can expect from me

Counseling involves working as a team. Together we will create achievable goals for change in how you act, think, and feel. We will replace old behaviors, habits, and ways of thinking with new, healthier ways of living.
