Great to meet you!

My vision is to help you achieve mental clarity, emotional resilience, and psychological well-being. We do this by focusing on both physical fitness and mental health, so you don't just live longer—you live better.

As a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner with a foundation in nursing spanning back to 2009, I have learned that the brain and the body are deeply interconnected. You cannot treat one effectively without addressing the other.

When I founded this practice, I chose the name Healthspan to reflect a shift in how we approach mental health. Traditional healthcare often operates on what Dr. Peter Attia describes in his book Outlive as "Medicine 2.0"—a reactive system that waits for a crisis or severe symptoms before intervening.

In my practice, I apply the principles of "Medicine 3.0" directly to psychiatry. This means providing proactive and preventative mental healthcare. While standard psychiatry often focuses merely on surviving a mental health struggle, my goal is to help you truly thrive, optimizing your "healthspan"—the period of your life spent with a sharp mind, stable moods, and a strong sense of purpose.

My approach to therapy

Comprehensive Care: Treating the Whole You

Mental health doesn't happen in isolation. Your emotional well-being is driven by neurobiology, which is heavily influenced by your physical habits and metabolic health. That’s why we look beyond just a list of symptoms to care for your overall well-being. To help you move beyond just managing symptoms, we focus on four core pillars alongside your clinical psychiatric care:

  • Quality Sleep: The absolute foundation for a clear mind and balanced emotions.
  • Nourishing Food: Fueling your body in a way that keeps your mood steady and your energy up.
  • Regular Movement: Building physical strength and heart health to keep your body capable for the long haul.
  • Mindfulness: Simple practices to help you manage stress and bounce back from life's challenges.

By caring for your physical and mental well-being at the same time, we can make sure you don't just add years to your life, but true quality and joy to those years.

What you can expect from me

When we first meet, we will spend a full 2 hours together. I use this unrushed time to conduct a thorough psychiatric diagnostic evaluation and to deeply understand your whole health story.

We will look closely at your mental health history, current struggles, and emotional goals, while also assessing how your sleep, diet, and routines are impacting your brain.

From there, we will create your personalized treatment roadmap. We will blend standard psychiatric care with everyday lifestyle shifts to help you find relief and build a strong foundation for the future.

You are the expert on your own life, and I am here to guide the clinical side. Together, we will find the practical, actionable steps that make a difference in your mental health.

...Because true longevity isn't just about the years we get—it’s about how good those years feel.
