Great to meet you!
Our stories are powerful and there is great benefit for clients to be able to tell their stories in a safe, accepting, non-judgmental space. This helps to get things “out of our heads and into the light” where we can examine them, test their validity, and help us come to terms with the true versions of ourselves (versus the “the “edited” version we often present to the outer world). The ability to “say things out loud” in a safe place is, in itself, often therapeutic.
Thoughts, feelings and behaviors are all interconnected. An understanding of this interplay often provides the key to healthy functioning. I also believe in a mindfulness-based approach that encourages us to be willing to accept the things we feel/experience, without self-judgment, and be willing to commit to doing "the next right thing" in our lives.
I enjoy working with adults (18 and above) across the life span. My practice is dedicated solely to male clients. I greatly enjoy working with young in the college/young adult age range.
