Great to meet you!
I battled Hodgkin's Lymphoma in my twenties and went through years of chemotherapy, radiation, and 2 stem cell transplants. I faced years of darkness where I battled with myself emotionally, spiritually, and physically. I learned during this dark time to find the strength within me to keep going. My motto in life was to always “hope for the best, prepare for the worst” because life felt uncertain and unpredictable. I will never forget how alone I felt during those years. There was no one that truly understood me, or listened to me. I knew then, I never wanted anyone else to feel the way that I did. So, I went back to school and received my degree in Counseling in hopes that one day I can help someone to find the strength within them to keep going no matter how unpredictable and challenging life may be.
I have experience working with young adults and adults on areas such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, life stressors, life transitions, relationships, and self-confidence/self-esteem issues.
