Great to meet you!

Premadonna Braddick is living proof that the toughest beginnings can lead to the most powerful transformations. Born and raised in the foster care system of East Oakland, California from the age of two until eighteen, Premadonna faced more challenges in her early years than most encounter in a lifetime. Battling depression, low self-esteem, and a fractured sense of self, she might have been expected to succumb to the weight of those circumstances. Instead, she chose a different path.

Guided by the wisdom and encouragement of dedicated mentors, Premadonna came to understand the life-changing value of mentorship—a lesson she now pours into her own work. Rather than allowing her past to define her limits, she turned every obstacle into a stepping stone, crafting a life mission to help others find peace from broken pieces.

For over 20 years, Premadonna has served as a trusted trauma therapist, offering individual therapy, marriage counseling, pre-marital guidance, and—her personal passion—mentorship and counseling for teen girls. She is widely known for her deep connection with teen girls, helping them reclaim self-worth, develop resilience, and embrace their own potential.

Premadonna often says her first degree came from UOL—the University of Life—where lived experience gave her the empathy, insight, and determination that no textbook could teach.

When you choose Premadonna as your Christian therapist, you’re not just choosing a professional—you’re choosing a survivor, a mentor, and a guide who has walked the path from pain to purpose. Her clients quickly discover that she doesn’t just counsel from theory; she counsels from the heart, with authenticity, compassion, and an unwavering belief in every person’s capacity to heal and thrive. The motto she lives by is when you have a setback don’t take a step back because God is already preparing your comeback!

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is rooted in Family Systems Theory, Narrative Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with other evidence-based techniques tailored to meet each client’s unique needs. By addressing patterns within the family system, reshaping personal narratives, and challenging negative thought patterns, I help clients heal from past wounds, develop healthier relationships, and build a foundation for long-term emotional well-being. My goal is to provide a supportive, solution-focused environment where individuals and families can rewrite their stories and create lasting, positive change.

What you can expect from me

During your counseling sessions, you can expect a compassionate, judgment-free space where healing, growth, and transformation begin. Through deep reflection, evidence-based strategies, and faith-driven encouragement, we will work together to break free from limiting beliefs, heal intergenerational wounds, and build a path toward lasting change. You will walk away feeling empowered with practical tools, renewed confidence, and a clear vision for your future. No matter where you are in your journey, you are not alone—your story is still being written, and together, I will help you rewrite it with strength, purpose, and hope.
