Great to meet you!

I am a compassionate Asian therapist with extensive experience in providing thoughtful care. As a military spouse, I understand the stresses of transitions, uncertainty, and resilience. My main specialty is trauma treatment, using evidence-based approaches to achieve meaningful and lasting change. Although I have worked with children and adolescents, in recent years, I have concentrated on adults and couples, while still seeing teenage clients. I truly value this work and find great fulfillment in helping clients heal and grow.

Many clients come feeling overwhelmed by trauma, anxiety, or depression. Despite trying to cope alone, they often face recurring emotional, relational, or daily patterns. We work to identify root causes, reduce symptoms, and rebuild safety, control, and confidence. I also help couples improve communication, resolve conflicts, or reconnect after periods of distance or conflict.

I can assist by applying evidence-based methods customized to each client’s needs. I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). For couples therapy, I utilize both the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to foster lasting growth and connection.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach centers on meeting clients exactly where they are and tailoring care to their individual needs, goals, and clinical circumstances. I strive to create a warm, safe, and supportive environment where clients feel comfortable exploring their experiences, facing challenges, and working toward meaningful growth.

What you can expect from me

During the first session, clients receive a comprehensive assessment of their background, history, and any past or present challenges or traumas. This process helps determine the most appropriate treatment method. The session also focuses on building rapport, creating a sense of comfort, and setting the stage for successful therapy.
