Great to meet you!
I am a compassionate and understanding Asian therapist with several years of experience in providing thoughtful care. As a military spouse, I am familiar with the unique stressors of transitions, uncertainty, and resilience. My primary focus is on trauma treatment, utilizing evidence-based methods to facilitate meaningful, lasting change. I have experience working with children and adolescents, but in recent years, I have shifted my focus to adults and couples, while still seeing teenage clients. I genuinely value this work and find great meaning in helping clients heal and grow.
Many clients I see come feeling overwhelmed by trauma, anxiety, or depression. Despite efforts to cope alone, they often face recurring patterns emotionally, relationally, or daily. We work together to identify the root causes, lessen symptoms, and rebuild feelings of safety, control, and self-confidence. I also assist couples aiming to enhance their relationship—whether it’s improving communication, resolving conflicts more effectively, or reconnecting after periods of distance or conflict.
I can assist by applying evidence-based methods customized to each client’s needs. I am trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), and Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). For couples therapy, I utilize both the Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) to foster lasting growth and connection.
