Great to meet you!

Hi, I'm Priscilla. I'm a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Maine. I work with adults (18+) who may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, relationship concerns, grief, or major life changes. I know that reaching out for therapy can feel like a big step, and my goal is to make that first step feel a little easier. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where you can openly explore your thoughts and emotions, gain new perspectives, and build the tools you need to navigate life's challenges. With over 10 years of experience in the mental health field, I've had the privilege of supporting individuals through difficult seasons and helping them build resilience, confidence, and healthier ways of coping. Wherever you are in your journey, I'm here to walk alongside you with compassion and care. I look forward to meeting you.

My approach to therapy

My work is grounded in evidence-based, integrative care. I primarily draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Solution-Focused Therapy, while also incorporating mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and strengths-based, person-centered, and trauma-informed principles. I don’t rely on a single method—instead, I tailor these tools to your needs to help you better understand your patterns, build effective coping skills, process difficult experiences, and create meaningful change in your life. For clients who wish to incorporate their faith into therapy, I also offer Christian and Catholic faith-based counseling. In this work, I thoughtfully integrate your spiritual beliefs and values into the therapeutic process in a way that supports your goals while respecting your individual beliefs and preferences.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, we’ll spend time getting to know each other and beginning to build a comfortable therapeutic relationship. I’ll ask questions to better understand what brings you to therapy, your current concerns, and what you hope to work on. Together, we’ll begin identifying your goals and what you’d like to focus on in treatment. I encourage you to ask any questions you may have about therapy or my approach as well. By the end of the session, we’ll begin outlining a direction for our work together and take the first step toward a supportive space for your growth.
