Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker and educator with over 15 years of experience supporting children, youth, and families in diverse communities. I offer warm, client-centered therapy for people navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship stress, and life transitions. My style is grounded in compassion and a strengths-based lens, helping you tap into your resilience and move toward a more fulfilling life.

My approach to therapy

In therapy, I focus on what’s getting in the way of your daily life while building insight, coping skills, and meaningful change at a pace that feels right for you. I use an integrative, flexible approach and pull from tools like Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered and Trauma-Focused Therapy, Family Systems, and Solution-Focused work. I also bring in mindfulness and practical skill-building so you leave sessions with strategies you can actually use between appointments.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is meant to feel welcoming and low-pressure. We’ll start by getting to know you as a whole person, talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, and begin clarifying your goals. I’ll gently guide the conversation with questions about your current challenges and history, while giving you plenty of space to share only what you’re ready to share. There’s no expectation to tell your whole story at once—my job is to meet you where you are and partner with you in the healing process.
