Great to meet you!

I spent twenty years working as a nurse before becoming a psychiatric nurse practitioner, with the last several years focused on behavioral health. That path taught me how much people need a provider who listens closely and asks the right questions before jumping to a plan. I work with adults and young adults dealing with anxiety, depression, and trauma, and I like to understand the full picture of what someone is going through so we can build a plan that actually fits their life. I believe therapy and medication management work best when you feel like an active partner in your own care, not just along for the ride.

My approach to therapy

I ask a lot of questions early on because I want to really understand what's going on before recommending next steps. I'm direct about what I'm seeing and why, so you always know where things stand. My goal is to help you feel more in control of your mental health, not dependent on me for every decision.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is about getting a clear picture of your history, your goals, and what's been working or not. I'll ask plenty of questions, walk you through my thinking, and we'll leave with a straightforward plan for anxiety, depression, or trauma symptoms, so you know exactly what comes next.
