Great to meet you!

Hello, my name is Dr. Rabeena Alli, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC). I have been practicing since 1997, with experience supporting adolescents and adults experiencing anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, chronic stress, burnout, caregiver stress, grief and loss, and relationship and family conflicts. My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based, focusing on helping clients develop effective coping strategies, improve emotional well-being, and build healthier relationships. I strive to create a welcoming, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, supported, and empowered to make meaningful changes. Together, we can identify your strengths and develop practical strategies to help you navigate life's challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is compassionate, collaborative, and strengths-based. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, and person-centered therapy, to meet each client's unique needs. I strive to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel heard and empowered. Together, we explore challenges, build effective coping skills, strengthen emotional regulation, and develop healthier relationships. My goal is to help clients recognize their strengths, navigate life transitions, and achieve meaningful, lasting change.

What you can expect from me

During our first session, you can expect a welcoming, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can share your concerns at your own pace. We will discuss what brings you to therapy, explore your goals, and identify the challenges you would like to address. I will ask questions to better understand your experiences, strengths, and needs while answering any questions you may have about the counseling process. Together, we will begin developing a personalized plan to help you build coping skills, improve your emotional well-being, and work toward meaningful change. You do not need to have everything figured out before we begin; we will take the journey one step at a time.
