Great to meet you!

Hello and I am so glad you are here! Since beginning my clinical practice in 2008 I have learned the foundation for healing lies in the therapeutic relationship, therefore our first few sessions are about building a foundation of trust. I focus on deeply listening to your story and understanding the specific concerns that led you here. I’ll share how my approach works—blending clinical expertise with a genuine, person-centered focus—and we’ll collaborate on a roadmap that feels right for you. My goal is to provide a judgement free space where you can become curious about your challenges, gain clarity, and begin moving toward the life you envision.

My approach to therapy

I believe that therapy is most effective when it is a true partnership. My practice is rooted in Person-Centered Therapy, meaning you are the expert on your life, and I am the expert in the clinical tools that can help you thrive. I blend this empathetic, person-centered foundation with the practical application of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). This "heart and head" approach allows us to explore the deep "why" behind your feelings while simultaneously building a concrete toolkit of skills to manage your daily life.

I am often described by my clients as grounded, intuitive, and authentically present. I aim for a balance of warm empathy and gentle candor. You can expect a space where curiosity replaces judgment. I’m not just a passive listener; I am an active collaborator who will offer insights, ask thought-provoking questions, and provide the steady support needed to tackle difficult topics with a touch of humor and a lot of heart.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, the focus is entirely on connection and clarity. I’ll take the time to hear your story and understand the concerns that brought you to therapy. I will explain my clinical approach in detail, answer any questions you have, and begin co-creating a plan that fits your unique pace and needs. My priority is to establish a safe, supportive environment where you feel seen and heard from the very first minute.
