Great to meet you!

My name is Rachael, and I would be honored to be a part of your life’s journey. I earned a masters degree from Fordham University’s Graduate School of Social Services in 2006, specializing in children and their families. Since that time, I have worked extensively in private practice with teenagers and adults who have displayed a multitude of symptoms and diagnoses including depression, anxiety, trauma, and attention deficit disorders, among other diagnoses. I also have experience with at-risk youth in both residential treatment facilities and therapeutic day program settings, worked as a school social worker, and in the foster care system. In addition, I have a great passion for working with and empowering children and families who are or have been affected in some capacity by alcohol and/or drug addictions.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic style is strengths based and solution focused, providing a safe and non-judgmental environment for children, teenagers, and adults alike.

What you can expect from me

I understand that beginning therapy can sometimes feel overwhelming or uncomfortable, but I strive to provide a warm, caring, and down to earth atmosphere. I truly enjoy helping people set goals, solve problems and create positive change in their lives; I look forward to working with you.
