Great to meet you!

I have been working as an individual therapist for 5 years. During this time I have worked with clients struggling with a number of concerns including adjusting to challenges in their employment or relationships. Additionally I have supported individuals obtain and maintain sobriety, cope with involvement in the criminal justice system and manage various chronic mental or physical health conditions.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is heavily client centered. I have found that focusing first and foremost on the individual's goals and learning about their experience is key to success and growth in their lives. I utilize a mix of treatment approaches to best suit each particular client toward their focus and work to provide a listening ear to truly understand their needs and desires for therapy.

What you can expect from me

During a first session, I typically desire to learn as much as possible about an individual prior to diving into the work we can do together. This may look like me learning about where an individual is at the time of therapy, what has brought them to this point and other factors that may play a role in their story. My hope is to make each client feel heard and supported in their first session. In next steps, together we will make a plan to reach their therapeutic goals.
