Great to meet you!

My name is Rachel, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with 10 years of experience working with adolescents and adults. In my direct client experience, I prioritize the client's goals and focus on their needs to provide the best treatment. As a client-centered professional, I strive to ensure that my clients get the most out of their experience with me.

My approach to therapy

My main objective as a mental health professional is to assist my clients by creating a trusting and client-oriented approach to managing their mental health. I firmly believe that this approach will provide them with the necessary support throughout their journey. To ensure that my clients have the best opportunity to experience happiness, I use a variety of techniques such as Problem Solving, Motivational interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and mindfulness interventions.

What you can expect from me

During my time with clients, I work to identify key stressors, including relationships, job-related stress, familial or self-esteem issues, or anything else that may be causing distress for my client. Once we have identified the stressor, I work to identify what has and hasn't been working by empowering my clients to share their experiences. Once we have identified the basics, we will move towards goal setting that meets you where you are at.
