Great to meet you!

My educational background includes a Master of Arts in Clinical Psychology from The University of Texas of the Permian Basin and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Texas Woman’s University. I am a Licensed Professional Counselor in TX, CO, and PA, and a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in ME, as well as a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in OH.

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic beliefs center on offering mindfulness, empathy, and presence. From here, I will work with you to find effective counseling modalities for the issues at hand, such as sexual and gender issues, mood disorders, anxiety disorders, and disabilities (physical, intellectual, and learning). Theories of counseling that I draw from include humanistic, CBT, REBT, feminist, DBT, and psychodynamic methods.

What you can expect from me

I foster an environment for learning skills of self-compassion and self-empowerment. I end sessions with goals and homework assignments if I think they would be helpful.
