Great to meet you!

The work we do together empowers you to explore your strengths, recognize the impact of cultural and societal factors on mental wellbeing, sit with the uncomfortable, dismantle barriers to healing, nurture self-compassion, and foster growth in ways that feel authentic and meaningful to you. Whether you're navigating life's challenges, seeking to improve your relationships, or working through traumatic experiences, I am here to support you every step of the way

My approach to therapy

I specialize in working with folks navigating race, ethnicity, gender, sexuality, religion, family stress and other aspects of identity, as well as the unique challenges that can arise from systemic inequalities and discrimination. My approach integrates evidence-based practices with empathy and respect. I honor the backgrounds and stories of each person I work with.

What you can expect from me

In your first session, we explore what brought you to therapy & discuss the most appropriate ways to help you make progress. I use a person-centered approach, & we'll look at how your lived experience, relationships, & thoughts can impact your day to day life. During treatment, we'll work to create a better understanding of your inner thoughts and feelings to impact your life in positive ways.
