Great to meet you!

Hey there! I'm Rachel, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. My background is in treatment of trauma, difficult relationships, and Deaf/HoH. I have worked extensively with couples, families, and individuals.

My approach to therapy

I bring a Christian and trauma-informed approach to treatment. I work alongside you to dig deep into the beliefs you've formed about yourself as you've journeyed through life, and I help you discern if they're still helpful for you or if they need to change. I tend to use a solution-focused or narrative approach to treatment.

What you can expect from me

I like to equip clients with tools they can use from day one. The first tool you can expect to gain from our work is awareness of how your emotions show up in your body. As you become more and more skilled at this, I will be walking you through strategies you can use to calm your reactions down when you do become triggered. As you practice that more, we will begin processing the difficult stuff, at the speed that is right for you.
