Great to meet you!

I have been working with adults, teens, couples and families for almost two decades. I am a licensed clinical social worker, with a psychodynamic background. I work with people in life transitions, people needing more connection in their lives and people experiencing anxiety, sadness, grief, depression and uncertainty.

My approach to therapy

I start out by listening to you and your story. I'm listening for feelings, themes, patterns, and especially experiences that haven't been articulated or spoken out loud yet. I share my impressions and thoughts with you, and together we try to understand what you are going through and what will help you maintain happiness and satisfaction.

What you can expect from me

I usually start with a 15 minute introductory call, and then meet with clients for an intitial session. I'll ask you what's bringing you to therapy right now, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. This also gives you an opportunity to ask me questions and experience how I work. I'm always interested in feedback from clients. I consider therapy a participatory, co-created working relationship.
