Great to meet you!

I specialize in providing trauma focused therapy solutions for people of all ages. I've been working with children, individuals and families who have experienced abuse, neglect, loss and complex trauma for over a decade. I earned my Master of Social Work Degree at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where I graduated with honors. My relationship with my clients is built on the four pillars of healing: safety, trust, support and hope.

My approach to therapy

My client's are encouraged to take an active role in their therapy and help to set and measure achievement towards their therapeutic goals. Interventions may include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Trauma Informed Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT). Youth sessions will integrate music, art and play. These modalities are among the most effective trauma interventions available to clients today.

What you can expect from me

Healing is possible and my goal is to holistically support each client through the healing process. Clients who are stuck in negative thinking patterns often gain new perspective and insight when provided with supportive reflection and education. Clients who are struggling with emotional regulation learn new skills designed to expand their capacity to experience peace and calm. Using methods such as EMDR and IFS we will work together to heal emotional wounds and traumas.
