Great to meet you!

I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with over a decade of experience supporting adults with substance use, eating disorders, and co-occurring mental health challenges. I’ve worked in a wide range of settings, including residential treatment, inpatient rehabilitation, methadone clinics, and outpatient therapy, which allows me to understand recovery from many perspectives.

I’m especially passionate about helping clients who feel stuck, overwhelmed, or discouraged by past treatment experiences. My goal is to offer a space where you feel respected, understood, and supported as you work toward meaningful change.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical. I believe therapy works best when you feel safe, heard, and actively involved in the process.

I use evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Motivational Interviewing, and Solution-Focused Therapy to help clients understand patterns, build motivation, and develop effective coping skills. I also integrate awareness of the connection between nutrition, mood, and mental health, particularly when working with eating disorders and emotional regulation.

Together, we focus on creating realistic, sustainable strategies that support long-term growth and recovery.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a comfortable, low-pressure environment. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what you’re hoping for, and any concerns you may have.

I’ll ask thoughtful questions to better understand your experiences, and we’ll begin identifying goals that feel meaningful and manageable. You can expect a supportive, nonjudgmental conversation focused on helping you feel more grounded, hopeful, and clear about next steps.

There is no expectation to have everything “figured out” before starting. We’ll take this process one step at a time, together.
