Great to meet you!

Hi, I’m Rachel, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the owner of Uncaged Counseling and Wellness. Creating a therapy space that feels safe, authentic, and supportive is central to my work. As a certified Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) provider and a Certified Clinical Trauma Professional, my approach focuses on helping people navigate intense emotions and difficult life experiences with greater understanding and skill.

Many clients come to therapy when emotions feel overwhelming, relationships feel complicated, or patterns feel difficult to change. My practice supports individuals living with borderline personality disorder, anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, and body-focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs) such as trichotillomania and skin picking.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate but also honest and collaborative. Sessions focus on building practical skills, strengthening emotional regulation, and developing greater self-understanding so life can feel more stable, manageable, and aligned with personal values.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, we'll focus on what matters most to you and build a plan that supports growth, self-compassion, and steady progress.
