Great to meet you!

Hi! My name is Rachel and I love working with kids and parents! I have a dual Master's degree in Social Work and Public Health from Washington University in St. Louis and am a licensed independent clinical social worker. I have over a decade of experience working with littles and their parents in various capacities. I love working with littles and helping parents feel confident in their parenting.

My approach to therapy

The most important aspect of developing a therapeutic relationship with littles (and bigs!) is building trust. As I learn about the family's concerns and goals, I have a tool box of approaches to draw from including TF-CBT, EMDR, PCIT, play and art therapy, and mindfulness.

What you can expect from me

Kids can expect to walk away from sessions feeling more equipped to handle the challenges of growing up. I love working directly with littles to improve emotional intelligence, increase impulse control and frustration tolerance, and learn how to navigate challenging peer relationships. I also love working with parents to improve the parent-child relationship and help them find the best parenting approach that works for their family.
