Great to meet you!

I know reaching out for therapy isn’t always easy, and you don’t have to have everything figured out before you start. Sometimes you just need a place where you can talk openly, feel heard, and work through what’s going on without feeling judged.

My style as a therapist is warm, relaxed, and down-to-earth. I want therapy to feel like a real conversation, not a clinical interview. I’ll meet you where you are, help you identify what may be keeping you stuck, and work with you to find realistic ways to move forward.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in psychiatric, medical, community, and school-based settings. I work with people dealing with anxiety, depression, stress, relationship concerns, major life changes, self-esteem, and those times when life simply feels like too much.

I often use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), but I believe therapy should fit the person—not the other way around. We may work on changing unhelpful thought patterns, developing better coping skills, setting boundaries, solving problems, or simply making sense of what you’re feeling.

You don’t need to show up with the perfect words or a list of goals. We can start wherever you are. My goal is for you to leave our sessions feeling heard, supported, and a little more confident about what comes next.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, supportive, and down to earth. I believe therapy should feel like a comfortable conversation where you can be yourself and talk openly without judgment. I primarily use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are connected. Together, we’ll identify what may be keeping you stuck, build practical coping skills, and work toward realistic changes that fit your life. Most importantly, I meet you where you are and work at a pace that feels comfortable for you.

What you can expect from me

Your first session is really about getting to know each other and helping you feel comfortable. We’ll talk about what brought you to therapy, what’s been going on in your life, and what you hope to get out of our time together. There’s no pressure to share everything at once. We’ll start where you are, identify some goals together, and begin figuring out what will be most helpful for you moving forward.
