Great to meet you!

I’m Rachel, a Licensed Professional Counselor with a passion for helping young people heal, grow, and feel more grounded in who they are. My background includes years in education and school counseling before transitioning fully into mental health counseling and private practice. I specialize in supporting teens and young adults experiencing anxiety, trauma, life transitions, and relationship or boundary challenges.

My approach to therapy

My approach is warm, collaborative, and rooted in trauma-informed, evidence-based practices. I also welcome conversations around faith and spirituality when clients want to include those aspects of their lives in the therapeutic work.

Most importantly, I want you to feel safe, seen, and supported as you learn new skills, process your story, and build the life you want.

What you can expect from me

Your first session with me is all about making you feel safe, seen, and heard. We’ll talk about what’s going on in your world right now, your goals, and anything that’s been weighing on you. I’ll ask some gentle questions to understand your background and what you want from therapy, but there’s no pressure—you can share at whatever pace feels right.

I take time to explain how therapy works and make sure you know what to expect moving forward. Most clients leave their first session feeling relieved, more grounded, and supported, with a sense of direction for the next steps in their healing journey.
