Great to meet you!

I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and retired U.S. Army Veteran with 22 years of active-duty military service. I have extensive experience helping adults navigate trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression, life transitions, and other challenging experiences. My military background, combined with my clinical experiences, gives me a unique understanding of the challenges faced by service members, Veterans, and their families. I provide a warm and supportive environment where you can feel comfortable being yourself while also being challenged and encouraged toward meaningful change. I believe therapy should be a collaborative, practical, and tailored to your individual needs.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is warm, direct, and empowering. I believe therapy should be a collaborative process where you feel heard and supported whiel also gaining the tools and insight needed to create meaningful change. I tailor treatment to each individual and draw from evidence-based, trauma-informed approaches, including EMDR, to address your unique needs and goals. Together, we will identify patterns that may be keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and develop practical strategies to help you move forward with greater confidence and resilience.

What you can expect from me

Our first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin identifying what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from the process. We will discuss your current concerns, relevant history, strengths, and goals for treatment. I understand that starting therapy can feel uncomfortable, so there is no expectation that you share everything at once. We will move at a pace that feels appropriate while beginning to develop a treatment plan that is tailored to your needs. You can expect a warm, straightforward, and collaborative environment where questions are encouraged and your voice is an important part of the process.
