Great to meet you!

Having worked with children a majority of my adult and working life, I have learned through both experience and formal education about child development and different approaches to engaging with and teaching skills to youth and adolescents to support their emotions, thoughts, and behaviors. I try to make therapy fun - so it doesn't feel like hard work. I have a background in ASL and a strong understanding of Deaf culture and the unique traumas that impact the Deaf community.

A bit about my approach to therapy

I use an eclectic blend of approaches catered to the needs of my clients. I enjoy incorporating expressive art and play therapy interventions in conjunction with more traditional perspectives. The approach to each client is tailored specifically to meet their goals.

What you can expect from our first session

The youth and adolescents I've worked with often walk away with greater self-confidence, self-advocacy and coping skills, and better management of symptoms. Parents are often given tools to help support their child and are given support themselves as they navigate the unique needs of their children.
