Great to meet you!

The act of living is often hard, but this improves when we do it together. The purpose of therapy can be different for each person, but my goal is to give you a safe space to explore your emotions, make sense of your experiences and relationships, and find strategies for managing distress, solving problems, or getting you closer to an integrated, authentic self. I have extensive experience working with trauma and attachment, particularly as it shows up in relationships and depressive or anxious symptoms; I also specialize in depression, anxiety, or difficulty adjusting to change or loss.

My approach to therapy

My practice tends to be very client-centered and insight-oriented – you drive the focus of therapy, and we continually work toward a greater understanding of what motivates or informs your responses and behavioral patterns.

What you can expect from me

I want us to work together to meet your goals - therapy can be challenging but I strive to provide a supportive environment that helps you feel safe enough to face the more difficult things.
