Great to meet you!

I enjoy working with adults and teens who struggle with communication, relationships, and emotion regulation. I often see adults who feel overwhelmed or frustrated after trying to manage symptoms of anxiety, ADHD, trauma, or depression on their own. Many of the teens I work with have difficulties that impact their school performance and their relationships with their parents or peers. I typically spend a few sessions getting to know my clients and assessing their needs before we start discussing and practicing skills and strategies together. If this sounds like what you're looking for but you're still unsure, let's talk about it!

My approach to therapy

My therapeutic approach is integrative with an emphasis on cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). I often use techniques and teach skills that promote behavior change, mindfulness, and self-acceptance to help people focus on what matters to them and be less self-critical. I will work with you to figure out what you need to make the changes that you want!

What you can expect from me

A typical initial session with me will involve us talking about what prompted you to start therapy and figuring out together whether it seems like I would be a good fit for you. We would usually talk about the changes that you hope to see through therapy and how I could help you get what you want out of our work together.
