Great to meet you!

With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, including psychiatry, hospitals, and hospice, I specialize in helping individuals facing chronic or terminal illnesses, depression, anxiety, grief, and life transitions. I believe in the power of hope and provide a safe space for healing and personal growth.

My approach to therapy

A therapist fulfills various roles, serving as an educator, cheerleader, and attentive listener. Individuals are encouraged to actively shape their treatment and formulate personal goals. I believe in the transformative power of hope. Evidence-based techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, and supportive therapy are utilized to help clients gain valuable insights, acquire fresh coping strategies, and experience relief from distressing symptoms.

What you can expect from me

After each session, clients should depart with fresh strategies for effectively managing issues that may arise between sessions. Throughout our therapeutic journey, clients will receive consistent encouragement to establish and pursue their self-care objectives. The culmination of therapy will be marked by the client's self-reported relief from symptoms and their ability to recognize and employ newfound tools to tackle future challenges.
