Great to meet you!

Life can bring unexpected challenges, and sometimes managing your mental health can feel overwhelming. Whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, major life transitions, or other mental health concerns, you deserve support that meets you where you are. I’m a mental health professional with experience in the field since 2003, working with adults across a wide range of treatment settings. My background includes community mental health, day treatment, inpatient care for adults and older adults, private practice, and providing support to active-duty military members and veterans in Tennessee. These experiences have shaped my understanding of the different challenges people face and the importance of individualized care. I welcome adults ages 18 and older with a variety of mental health concerns and strive to create a supportive environment where you can feel comfortable discussing your experiences and working toward greater wellbeing. Outside of my work, I live in Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, with my two children and our two very large dogs, Ozzy Osbark and Zizzy.

My approach to therapy

Our work will begin with understanding your individual experiences, identifying your needs, and finding an approach to care that fits you. I recognize that everyone’s mental health journey is different, and I believe treatment should reflect your unique concerns, circumstances, and goals. My broad clinical background has given me experience working with people in different stages of life and across a range of mental health settings. Together, we’ll explore the challenges you’re experiencing and identify ways to help you manage symptoms, navigate everyday stressors, and improve your quality of life. I also believe in being transparent about my areas of expertise. If your needs fall outside my particular specialty or experience, I’ll communicate that openly so we can consider the most appropriate support for you. My goal is to help you feel informed, respected, and supported throughout the process.

What you can expect from me

You don’t need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. Our sessions will provide an opportunity to talk about what brings you in, discuss your concerns, and identify what you hope to achieve. We’ll work together to understand your needs and determine the best direction for your care. You can expect an honest, individualized approach that takes your experiences seriously and recognizes that progress looks different for everyone. As we move forward, we’ll focus on addressing your concerns, building on your strengths, and finding ways to support your mental health in everyday life. My goal is to help you feel heard, understand your options, and find the support that best fits your needs.
