Rachyl Nyoka currently holds dual licenses in the states of North Carolina and California as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). She was awarded a Master of Arts in Couple and Family Therapy from the California School of Professional Psychology where Rachyl began to integrate her creativity for understanding the human mind with her passion for exploring the human heart and spirit.
Many of Rachyl’s individual clients are intuitive, spiritual, or navigating the complexities of being multiracial or part of blended families. She also supports individuals exploring the "witch wound," shadow work, and the intersection of creativity and personal transformation. Rachyl works with couples who are committed to bridging the gap between conflict and understanding. Using tools from attachment theory, IFS, and systems thinking, Rachyl guides couples in exploring how to meet each other with curiosity, empathy, and accountability. Her clients often begin therapy when they’re ready to turn toward themselves with the same compassion they offer others. They're seeking grounding, clarity, and a way forward.
Creativity is at the heart of Rachyl Nyoka’s practice, where she often invites clients to explore situations from creative and expressive angles. Rachyl specializes in working with women in their 20s-40s, highly sensitive people (HSPs), creatives and artists, and couples seeking deeper connection.Her theoretical background is trauma-informed and includes mindfulness and meditation, as well as narrative therapy, internal family systems (IFS), and cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT).
