Dr. Rahonie Persaud Evans, DNP, is a dual-certified Nurse Practitioner. She graduated from the University of North Florida with a Doctor of Nursing Practice degree and a postgraduate certificate in Psychiatric Mental Health. She has experience working with patients experiencing life transitions, ADHD, depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorders. She is also experienced in several areas of medicine, including IM, Nephrology, Gastroenterology, and Cardiology.

My approach to therapy

She is licensed to practice in Florida, and as a doctoral-prepared nurse practitioner, she takes a holistic and individualized approach to every client. This approach stems from the understanding that mental health can affect multiple areas of one's life. Therefore, she treats every client with individualized care and evidence-based interventions. In addition, she utilizes medication in conjunction with therapy to improve patient outcomes.
