Great to meet you!

Be honest—does your relationship feel like a minefield, an emotional rollercoaster, or both?

You try to do the right thing, but somehow it always backfires. You love hard, you give everything, but lately it feels like that’s never enough. Maybe you think your partner is the problem—but late at night, you wonder if it’s actually you.

That’s the space where I do my best work. I help clients untangle the push-and-pull dynamics that keep them stuck in cycles of conflict, guilt, and disconnection. I will teach you how to assert your needs, set boundaries that actually hold, communicate without losing your cool, and stop giving more than you can afford to lose.

Of course, not every struggle is about a partner. Often the conflict is internal—the pressure to perform, the constant worry and anxiety and self-doubt, addiction to porn or alcohol or other problematic behaviors, the burnout that leaves you drained, or the depression that makes everything feel heavier than it should.

I work with clients who want to stop overthinking, manage anger, rebuild motivation, and create a calmer, more balanced life—one that makes room for both peace and connection.

As a men’s counselor in North Carolina and South Carolina, I often work with clients navigating major life transitions—career, family, identity, and loss—but my practice is open to all who want to live with purpose, balance, and self-respect.

Change doesn’t come from blaming or overanalyzing. It comes from courage, ownership, and consistent effort. That’s the work I’ll help you do.

If you’re tired of feeling like you’re the only one holding it together, therapy can help you reconnect—to yourself, your values, and the people who matter most.

My approach to therapy

I take a straightforward, integrative approach to therapy. No fluff, no jargon—just what works. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all methods, because people aren’t formulas. I’ll pull from whatever tools help you get unstuck and start moving forward.

My style is active, honest, and collaborative. We won’t spend months circling the past—you’ll learn practical ways to change what’s not working right now. I am trauma-informed and draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and 12-Step principles, combining evidence-based strategies with real-life application.

Whether you need structure, accountability, or a challenge to break old patterns, we’ll find the approach that actually fits you—and gets results.

What you can expect from me

With me, you’ll get the right mix of honesty, support, and accountability. I’m not here to just nod and listen—I’m here to help you take action. We’ll do the heavy lifting together to break old patterns, face what’s holding you back, and create real, lasting change.

When you do the work, you’ll start to notice:

✔ Healthier, more connected relationships

✔ Less anxiety and emotional overwhelm

✔ More energy, focus, and direction in your life

✔ A stronger sense of confidence and purpose

Before we begin, I require a free 15–20 minute video consultation. It’s important that therapy feels like a good fit on both sides. We’ll talk, ask questions, and see if the connection feels right before you commit to the intake process and the paperwork that goes along with it!
