Great to meet you!

I know that seeking mental health care can feel overwhelming—especially when you’re not sure where to start. If you’re here, you’re already taking an important step, and I’m glad you found your way.

I’m Dr. Rani George, a board-certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over seven years of experience supporting children, adolescents, adults, and older adults. I’m passionate about helping people feel understood, supported, and empowered as they work toward better mental health and a more fulfilling life.

I specialize in treating depression, anxiety, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, OCD, prenatal and postpartum mental health concerns, gender dysphoria, and disruptive mood dysregulation disorder (DMDD). I enjoy working with individuals and families across the lifespan, tailoring care to each person’s unique stage of life, challenges, and goals.

My approach to therapy

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and personalized. I take time to understand the whole person—your emotional health, physical wellbeing, lifestyle, relationships, and environment—because mental health doesn’t exist in isolation. Together, we’ll create an individualized treatment plan that may include medication management, therapy-based strategies, lifestyle adjustments, or a thoughtful combination of approaches.

When I use evidence-based treatments, I focus on how they help you in real life. For example, therapeutic techniques can help you recognize unhelpful thought patterns, build healthier coping skills, and feel more in control of your emotions and decisions—not just during sessions, but day to day.

What you can expect from me

I believe informed patients feel more confident and engaged in their care. I’ll explain diagnoses, treatment options, and medications clearly, answer your questions openly, and involve you in every step of the decision-making process.

Care works best as a team effort. When helpful, I collaborate with therapists, primary care providers, and other specialists to ensure your care is coordinated and comprehensive.

Healing is a process, but you don’t have to navigate it alone. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you feel respected, heard, and encouraged—while taking meaningful, measurable steps toward lasting mental wellness.
