Great to meet you!

I’m Rasha, a licensed therapist with over eight years of experience in mental health, public health, and program leadership. My background includes working with adolescents, adults, and families across school-based, community, and clinical settings. I specialize in supporting individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, life transitions, and concerns related to racial and ethnic identity.

My work is grounded in both clinical expertise and real-world understanding of how systemic stressors, culture, and environment impact mental health. I have extensive experience helping clients who appear high-functioning externally but feel overwhelmed, emotionally taxed, or disconnected internally.

Clients should know that I am direct, thoughtful, and deeply invested in meaningful growth. I will support you — but I will also challenge you when necessary. Therapy with me is not passive; it is intentional, reflective, and focused on helping you build sustainable change.

My approach to therapy

My approach to therapy is holistic, empowering, and collaborative. I view clients within the context of their full lived experience — including culture, identity, family systems, community influences, and personal history. I integrate trauma-informed care, cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), strengths-based approaches, and solution-focused strategies to address both immediate symptoms and underlying patterns.

I believe in helping clients understand the “why” behind their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while also providing practical tools to regulate emotions, shift unhelpful thinking, and improve daily functioning. I challenge clients in a supportive way, encouraging deeper insight and accountability while honoring their autonomy.

Whether we are addressing anxiety, trauma, ADHD, burnout, or identity-related stress, our work will be structured, goal-oriented, and tailored to your specific needs. My goal is to help you leave therapy not just feeling heard — but equipped.

What you can expect from me

In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming, and structured conversation. We’ll explore what brought you to therapy, the challenges you’re currently facing, and what you hope will feel different in your life. I will ask thoughtful questions to understand your history, strengths, support systems, and goals.

My intention is to create an environment where you feel both safe and empowered. By the end of our first session, we will begin identifying clear goals and outlining next steps so you feel a sense of direction and momentum.

You won’t be expected to have everything figured out — just a willingness to show up honestly. From there, we build.
