Great to meet you!

Hello, and welcome. I'm Rashay, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC), Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (CRC), and Certified Employee Assistance Professional (CEAP) with over 15 years of experience helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, stress, burnout, life transitions, workplace concerns, and relationship challenges. I have a special interest in supporting working professionals, caregivers, and individuals who spend so much time caring for others that their own needs often fall to the bottom of the list. My approach is warm, supportive, and collaborative. I believe therapy should be a space where you can show up as your authentic self, feel heard without judgment, and gain practical tools to help you move forward. Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), along with strengths-based and solution-focused approaches, I work with clients to build on their strengths, develop healthy coping skills, and create meaningful change. Clients often appreciate that I am down-to-earth, genuine, and easy to talk to. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or navigating a new season of life, I would be honored to support you on your journey toward healing, growth, and greater well-being.

My approach to therapy

I believe therapy is a partnership, and my goal is to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where you feel heard, understood, and empowered. My approach is warm, collaborative, and practical, balancing emotional support with tools and strategies that can be applied in everyday life. Drawing primarily from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), as well as strengths-based and solution-focused approaches, I help clients identify unhelpful patterns, build healthy coping skills, increase self-awareness, and create meaningful change. I believe each person brings unique strengths to the therapy process, and I strive to meet clients where they are while supporting them in moving toward their goals at a pace that feels comfortable and sustainable.

What you can expect from me

Starting therapy can feel overwhelming, and many clients come into the first session unsure of where to begin and that’s completely okay. My goal is to create a supportive, judgment-free space where you can show up as you are.

Our first session focuses on understanding your story, current concerns, strengths, and what you hope to gain from therapy. We will explore the challenges bringing you in, discuss goals, and begin identifying areas where support may be helpful.

You do not need to have everything figured out before starting therapy. We move at a pace that feels comfortable for you while working together to build a plan that supports meaningful growth and change.
