Great to meet you!

Hi! I'm Rebecca! I've been a therapist for nearly 15 years. My specialties are neurodiversity and trauma. As an autistic provider, I am acutely aware of how therapy that does not affirm someone's neurotype or trauma history can be harmful. Thus, I treat every client as an individual, taking into account their history, preferences, and unique way of thinking and being.

My approach to therapy

In my trauma work, I help clients regain a sense of safety in the world and (re)learn how to trust their own bodies and nervous systems. I also help my clients understand how to work with their unique neurotype rather than against it. I also reject hierarchical views of therapy, treating the client as the expert in their own life and conceptualization of their lived experience. I also believe in the importance of radical authenticity and treat the therapeutic relationship as a real relationship between humans, built on mutual respect, trust, and honesty.

What you can expect from me

I strive to help clients make lasting changes to instead of focusing on "quick fixes" that address the symptoms of distress rather than root causes.
