Great to meet you!

Has trauma, anxiety, depression, or substance abuse interfered with the potential to become the best version of yourself? My name is Rebecca DeMary, and I’m here to provide a safe space for you to develop an understanding of yourself to overcome past experiences or fears that define you. I've been a mental health and substance abuse counselor for 28 years, and I graduated with my Master's from West Virginia University (let's go Mountaineers!).

My approach to therapy

I’m a compassionate, open-minded therapist who believes everyone deserves a safe, non-judgmental space to be heard and understood. My approach is collaborative and supportive — we’ll work together at your pace to explore challenges, build insight, and create meaningful change.

What you can expect from me

The first session would focus mostly on introductions, what brings you into therapy, and any goals you would like to focus on. Most importantly, the first session is about building trust. You don’t have to “perform” or have the right words — just showing up is enough.
